Between work pressures, family commitments and everything else competing for your attention, finding time to pause feels impossible. That's where reflexology comes in. It's not about adding another task to your list. It's about giving yourself permission to stop, breathe and let your body do what it does best: heal and restore itself.
I'm Elaine, a clinical reflexologist working from my home clinic in Stonehaven. I'm a member of the AoR (Association of Reflexologists) and hold a Level 8 Practitioner's Diploma in Clinical Reflexology from the Complementary Therapy School (accredited by the University of the West of Scotland).
I work with people dealing with all sorts of challenges. These can include stress and anxiety from demanding jobs (I spent decades in the corporate world, so I understand), overwhelming feelings that make everything seem harder than it should be or symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Maybe you're struggling with chronic pain that's become part of your daily routine or perhaps you simply need proper relaxation in a world that never seems to slow down. I've been there myself and I know how frustrating it is when the first response is always medication. Sometimes your body just needs support not prescriptions.
My approach is clinical and evidence-based, delivered with warmth and genuine care. Whether you visit my Stonehaven clinic or I travel to you within 30 miles through my mobile service, you'll get the same experience: focused attention and treatment that's tailored specifically to you.

Reflexology works by applying pressure to specific points on your feet that correspond to different organs and systems in your body. This stimulates your body's natural healing processes and promotes deep relaxation. During a session, you'll be comfortably positioned while I work systematically through these reflex points. Most clients find the experience deeply relaxing.
Reflexology can offer support for a wide range of concerns, encouraging your body to find balance and promoting deep relaxation. While it benefits many different people in different ways, here are some of the most common reasons clients seek treatment:
For some people, reflexology can provide welcome relief and comfort
May be particularly helpful if you're managing demanding work commitments with constant deadlines and pressure
When everything feels too much and your nervous system needs to find a calmer rhythm
Hot flushes, disrupted sleep, brain fog and mood changes all deserve proper attention and support
Sometimes you simply need dedicated time to let your body rest and restore
While reflexology won't eliminate menopause, it may help ease the journey through it. Many women find it makes a genuine difference to their daily comfort and wellbeing.
Your initial session runs for approximately 90 minutes. This gives us time to review your consultation form together and discuss what you're hoping to achieve from treatment. It's also your opportunity to ask any questions about the process.
Regular sessions are 60 minutes, providing dedicated time for relaxation and therapeutic benefit.
To get started, download and complete the consultation form, then email it to me. Once I've received it, we'll arrange your first appointment at a time that suits you.
If you'd prefer to discuss reflexology before booking, please get in touch. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.
I'm glad you're considering reflexology and I'd be delighted to hear from you. Whether you have questions about how reflexology works, want to discuss your specific needs or you're ready to book your first session, please don't hesitate to reach out.
